Self-Care Action Plan

After a week of dealing with a sprained lower back muscle, I took action and contacted Tocar.

As a division I track and field athlete, massage therapy is an intricate part of muscle recovery. When I began working with Stephen his techniques were absolutely amazing. He incorporated deep tissue massage with stretching techniques. I began to notice a significant difference in how my muscles recovered and an overall sense of "feeling good." Every time I step off the massage table I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

I'm very picky when it comes to massage, and not many people can get it right with me.  A few years ago, I had my first appointment with Stephen, and I haven't been to anyone else since!   I used to have frequent headaches and migraines, and since I've been getting regular massage, I rarely have them.  I've recommended Stephen to many people, and am recommending him to you too!  If you haven't made an appointment yet, do it now - you won't regret it!

I can't write all the adjectives to explain how I felt when leaving my session.  This was my first hour and half as I have only had hour session previously, but it will not be my last.  I have been seeing Stephen for over a year now and my lower back pain has diminished, my stress level has been lowered and I just plain feel good all over. Stephen's professionalism, excellent customer service and magnificent hands will keep me as a customer for a life time.

I have very tight muscles from years of sports. I especially have problems with my knees. Stephen has been amazing in helping me to extend my range of motion and flexibility without pain.  He's also very knowledgeable about sports injuries and has provided me with many tips on how to relieve my pain at home in between massages.  It's clear that he loves his profession and he is always very kind, caring, and professional. Who could ask for anything more!

I regularly receive massages at various places throughout the Baltimore/DC area and this is the only place that I've scheduled a second visit. I prefer light massages but often times when I tell the masseuse that it turns into more of a lotion application session and less of a massage. Stephen provided the perfect combination of pressure and relaxation that had me leaving feeling euphoric.

I would recommend anyone who body builds, who is very athletic or just works out consistently to get this service.  The dynamic stretching along with deep tissue is just what you need when you've worked out really hard.  This massage really helped to lengthen my muscles and I felt like a new woman the following day!

Stephen was very professional and gave me a superior level of care when i was on the massage table. It was an enjoyable experience and I look forward to my next visit in the upcoming weeks.
