Molly Farwell Introduction Video
Molly Farwell is a Maryland-licensed massage therapist (LMT) and certified practitioner of Integrative Reflexology(R), a graduate of Potomac Massage Training Institute, in Silver Spring, MD. Prior to beginning her studies in massage, she came from a background in immigration legal work and advocacy and is fluent in English and Spanish. Her training includes over 100 hours of study and practice in trauma-informed client services within and beyond the bodywork field.
Molly’s approach to massage is gentle, slow, and responsive to each individual’s needs. This approach to bodywork therapy is often effective for relieving stress-related tension and chronic pain. She is highly proficient in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage techniques and has introductory training in myofascial release, Shiatsu massage, aromatherapy, the Trager(R) approach, and yoga therapy. Her detailed knowledge of anatomy and familiarity with both manual and movement-based modalities informs her assessment of each individual’s case.
Molly’s bodywork sessions provide a safe and judgment-free space for relaxation and healing to occur. She welcomes people of all backgrounds, bodies, and genders. Her self-care routine includes a passion for herbal teas and remedies and a dedicated practice of meditation and yoga. She is currently in training to become a Yoga-alliance registered teacher. She will happily share and recommend post-session exercises and stretches to help carry your therapy out of the massage room and into your daily life.
